We will be opening the Observatory to the public regardless of weather, though we hope for favorable weather so we can use the telescope to look at some astronomical objects! Come see the historic 15.6″ Clark refractor and enjoy the view of the night sky atop beautiful Observatory Hill, following traditions of our ancestors for over 10,000 years. The dome is open to the outside air so dress appropriately. Food and drinks, as well as flash photography are not allowed in the observatory.
In the event that weather is not favorable on the 17th, the Observatory will be open on October 24th from 7-10pm.
