PRESENTERS AND SCIENCE COMMUNICATORS – Looking to share your science?
REGISTER HERE TODAY! If you are looking for ways to share your science through hands-on engagement with the community and K-12 groups, please fill out the PRESENTER! This year we have 3 opportunities to engage directly with school groups, families, and festival attendees of all ages and interests!
- Tuesday, October 15th, 9:30a-1p – Field Trip Expo at the Discovery Building
- Thursday, October 17th, 5-9p – Science on the Square – Madison Night Market Fusion
- Saturday, October 19th, 10a-1p – Community Expo at the Discovery Building

DISCOVERY VOLUNTEERS
REGISTER HERE TODAY to lend a hand at our upcoming hands-on expo events. Account creation and approval required prior to registering for volunteer shifts.
10/15/24 – Field Trip Expo (Discovery Building): 9:00-11:15am & 11:00-1:15pm
10/17/24 – Science on the Square (Downtown Madison): 4:30-7:00pm & 6:45-9:15pm
10/19/24 – Community Expo (Discovery Building): 9:30-11:30am & 11:15-1:15pm
Why volunteer?
- Help others discover the wonder and power of science.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone! Science expert or not, new volunteers are always welcome!

Group opportunities are excellent team building experiences that help you connect with the community.
What do volunteers do at the festival?
You can choose how you want to engage. Options include:
- Welcoming visitors.
- Answering questions.
- Running programs and experiments.
- Assisting with volunteer management.
- Prepping for the festival.
- And more!
