Observe flocks of Sandhill cranes landing for the evening in the Gallagher Marsh at Sandhill Wildlife Area from 3 p.m. to sunset. Guests are asked to register in the logbook and pick up a map at the kiosk near the entrance gate. Follow the 14-mile one-way Trumpeter Trail auto tour to the parking area near Gallagher Marsh and then take the hiking trail.
