Come to the UW-Madison Arboretum to be a part of the Wisconsin Science Festival BioBlitz. Grounds are open seven days a week from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. See the website for trail maps. Hike the trails and walk in the gardens while looking for living organisms to photograph and submit to the Wisconsin Science Festival BioBlitz project on iNaturalist.

Join us for a learning event for adults at the Oregon Area Senior Center! Registration is required. The first 30 people who register will get a free packet of Butterfly Weed seeds. Monarch butterfly populations have been declining over the last 20 years. Arboretum Garden Stroll

View the UW-Madison Arboretum's gardens in their annual display of fall colors! This gently paced stroll through the gardens is well-suited for a multigenerational outing. Learn about plants, animals and fungi; phenology; and ecology. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and come prepared for weather and insects. Walks take place rain or shine, except in unsafe weather. Routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible when weather allows. Free, no registration required. Meet at the Visitor Center.
