Astronomy on Tap is a monthly public science event, presented by Badger Talks, held during the academic year at breweries around Madison. Each event features astronomers and other earth/space scientists from UW–Madison giving fun talks about the nature of the Universe. The talks are accompanied by games including space bingo and astronomy trivia.

In this month’s event at Working Draft Beer Company, two UW–Madison graduate students will talk about possible spaceborne threats to life on Earth. Tayt Armitage will give a forecast of severe space weather, and Evan Linck will talk about how to deter asteroids from hitting Earth.
