DESCRIPTION:This is a free\, in-person talk hosted on October 21\, 2026\, at 5:30 PM by Taylor County Extension in Medford\, WI. To register for this event\, please call: 715-748-3327. This talk will not be available virtually. \nJoin us for an introduction to Wisconsin’s Tribal Nations and explore some key concepts of the Indigenous world view. Leave with your own personal action plan for engaging with Native American people and communities that will be developed using a Native American medicine wheel. \nAnnie Jones has worked with Extension for 25 years serving in a variety of capacities including Associate Dean\, Special Assistant to the Dean for Strategic Directions and a county-based Community Development Educator. Annie’s areas of research include indigenous methodologies like the use of the Native American medicine wheel and cultural teachings to enhance planning and evaluation. Annie specializes in participatory and community-based action research.
