Stop by this booth at the Superior Downtown Farmer’s Market to try out some hands-on activities that help answer this question. Staff from the LEAF K-12 Forestry Education Program will be on hand with tools like infrared thermometers and carbon sequestration measurement tapes that marketgoers can use to explore the benefits of street trees. We will also have information and resources related to planting edible forests. There will be fun things to do for both children and adults! Programs center on Design Thinking with activities such as tinkering\, guided projects\, design scrambles\, CAD and digital fabrication. Bring the family and observe this special makerspace and take part in a special project. \nWe thank the Einstein Project for the opportunity to host this event. For over three decades\, the Einstein Project has provided leadership in transformational change in STEM education in Wisconsin.
