SUMMARY:Circus Lab: The Physics of Play
DESCRIPTION:A show where circus meets science and every action has a reaction! \nJoin Madison Circus Entertainment for an interactive circus experience that explores the fascinating science behind juggling\, hula hoops\, balance\, and more. Through live demonstrations\, audience participation\, and plenty of circus fun\, discover how gravity\, momentum\, balance\, force\, and motion help make circus possible. \nWhy does a hula hoop stay spinning? How do jugglers keep objects moving through the air? What allows a stilt walker to stay balanced several feet above the ground? \nWatch amazing circus skills in action while learning the science that makes them work. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions\, make predictions\, and even try a few circus skills themselves. \nPerfect for curious minds of all ages\, Circus Lab combines STEM learning with movement\, creativity\, and play to show that science is everywhere—even under the big top!

SUMMARY:Scientists in all of US
DESCRIPTION:There is a Scientist in all of us! Join us at the Pauline Haass Public Library to discover the science hidden in everyday life. We’re bringing science “down to earth” as we learn to think like scientists about the big and small things we do every day.\nWe’ll also explore how our local community helpers use science to get the job done! Have you ever wondered how science keeps us safe\, helps us cook a meal\, gets us from place to place\, or keeps us healthy? Here is your chance to turn that curiosity into discovery!
