SUMMARY:Science Extravaganza at Neenah Public Library
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we turn the library into the sci-brary. Engage in a variety of hands-on science activites presented by local scientists and sci-thuiasts. All ages are welcome. Hands-on activities are geared for ages 5 – 13. \nProgram will run from approximately 10:30am – Noon. This is a drop-in program. \nNo registration required. While activities are ideal for ages 5 and up\, all ages are welcome. A parent\, caregiver\, or responsible older child must be within sight and sound of children under 9. \nThis program will be held inside the library in the Shattuck Room. \nEveryone is welcome. If accommodations are needed to attend\, please contact the library administrative office at 920-886-6315 or by email at library@neenahlibrary.org at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

He retired after working With the Wisconsin Crime Lab in Madison\, WI for 34 years before retiring as head of the drug identification unit having testified in courts of law 500 times as an expert witness. The Forest Products Laboratory is a national research laboratory operating under the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The Lab is responsible for scientific research on wood and developing innovative wood products. The Forest Products Laboratory collaborates in partnership with academia\, private companies\, industry\, and governmental agencies. DESCRIPTION:The Einstein Design Lab is coming to the Waupaca Area Public Library as part of the 2026 Wisconsin Science Festival. \nThis rolling makerspace includes 3D printers\, laser cutters\, laptops and lot’s of prototyping materials. Programs center on Design Thinking with activities such as tinkering\, guided projects\, design scrambles\, CAD and digital fabrication. Bring the family and observe this special makerspace and take part in a special project. \nWe thank the Einstein Project for the opportunity to host this event. For over three decades\, the Einstein Project has provided leadership in transformational change in STEM education in Wisconsin.
