Wisconsin Science Festival at Big Hill Park

Saturday10/211:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Mark your calendars! Wisconsin Science Festival is October 10-16, 2022!

Join Welty Environmental Center at Big Hill Park on Saturday, October 15, 2022, 1-4 p.m. for loads of fun involving weather and climate. This year’s Wisconsin Science Festival theme is celebrating the International Year of Glass, so participants will have games to play and crafts to build (and take home!). We will be answering the question of “What does weather have to do with glass?”

We will also have a climate exhibit from the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Center for Science Education titled “Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes.” Find more information at https://scied.ucar.edu/travelingclimate.

The Wisconsin Science Festival aims to inspire and engage us in the enterprise of science and discovery, cultivate curiosity, communicate the power of knowledge and creativity to change our worldview, promote innovation, and cultivate the next generation of global citizens.
