The Science of Wine Tasting

Saturday10/177:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Wine educator Sherry Seston will lead you through how to taste wine like a pro. No marketing or fancy words – just the biology & chemistry behind wine tasting and pairing. Knowing how the chemistry of wine affects your palate (aka your mouth & nose) will help you pick wines you like and enjoy them more! No prior wine or science knowledge required!

You will need:

  • 1 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon
  • A few salty potato chips
  • A few pickles or olives
  • Cured meat or cheese (optional)

Please message Sherry if you want more specifics about what wine to buy.

This will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the Urban Wine Collective page.

Sherry Seston, owner of The Urban Wine Collective, is a WSET Level 3 Wine Educator with a Ph.D. in microbiology.

**Note: Must be 21 to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
