Learn all about what happens to your trash here in Dane County by exploring the Trash Lab! Created in partnership between the Dane County Department of Waste & Renewables and the Madison Children’s Museum, the Trash Lab features more than 10 playful interactive stations, engaging stories, various models and compelling photography and video footage to teach the community about the science and engineering involved in waste management. Trash Lab will help citizens of all ages better understand the implications of the waste they produce, how landfills work and new opportunities for more sustainable solutions.
