Lecture: How Glass Optical Lenses Changed the Trajectory of Science

At its October meeting, held at the Stonecipher Astronomy Center, the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will celebrate the Wisconsin Science Festival with a two-part program: Coggin Heeringa will offer a program describing how glass optical equipment changed the trajectory of science, followed Thomas Minahan demonstrating how lenses work.

Free and open to the public.

This event is a collaboration between Crossroads at Big Creek, Door County Library and the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society.
