Explore the great outdoors and learn more about the types of trees in your neighborhood by using this simple leaf viewfinder available at the Youth Services Desk on the first floor of the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.

Have you ever found yourself wondering, “What kind of tree is that?” Use this simple S.T.E.M. kit and build yourself a leaf identification viewfinder. Once you’ve put it together, hold the viewfinder up to a tree leaf and compare it to one of the images. You can use the enclosed logging sheet to keep track of your discoveries.

Also included with the viewfinder kit are instructions on how to make your own crystal Leaves by just using hot water, a glass jar and salt!

Kits available Monday, October 10, through Sunday, October 16.

Hours:
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m.
