Building for Kids’ STEMpowered Kids

During STEMpowered Kids Week, The Building for Kids will offer a series of small group, in-person programs including:

STEMpowered Kids: Fun with Ozobots! (Ages 2 +) – October 13: 9am-10am; Oct 14: 9am-10am, 12pm-1pm; Oct 15: 9am-10am; Oct 17: 9am-10am
Join us as we learn about Ozobots, tiny robots that can follow lines and read colors!  We’ll draw paths for our robots as we practice our colors, draw lines, shapes and our names.

STEMpowered Kids: Coding with Ozobots (Ages 5+) – October 14: 10:30am-11:30am, 5:30pm-6:30pm; Oct 16: 1pm-2pm
Be creative and learn about coding with Ozobots, our tiny coding robots!  We will learn some coding basics and use colors, lines and patterns to design paths for our robots.

STEMpowered Kids: Pom Pom Catapults (Ages 3 +) – October 14: 12pm-1pm; Oct 16: 4pm-5pm
Join us as we make craft stick catapults! Younger children can enjoy the fun with the help of an adult or by participating in some other pompom activities too
