“An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” is an old saying to encourage us all to enjoy the nutritional value of apples. But what (and who?) does is take to grow, harvest and process the 49 million pounds of apples annually grown in our state?
Join us the week of October 10- 14 at 10 a.m. as we explore the science of apples! Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom will be hosting Facebook Live events on our page, Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom. Each live event will feature a hands-on activity for you to try at home (or in your classroom!) and discover just how apples are grown, harvested and processed for you to enjoy an Apple a Day in a variety of ways!
