About the Festival

Science Festivals not only celebrate curiosity and creativity, they also help build a community of people committed to sharing in the enterprise of science as exploring the unknown. Science Festivals can introduce you to science people, places, and programs that you can then tap into all year-round as you explore more about how science is changing how we look at and lead our lives.

The inaugural year of Wisconsin Science Festival is based in Madison, Wisconsin. It is the invention of a growing coalition of scientists, artists, citizens, and organizations passionate about engaging everyone in the wonder and power of science. The organizers plan for the festival to change and expand locations each year so that it is hosted in multiple venues across the state.
